Basilica di Santa Croce
This is the Basilica di Santa Croce in Florence, Italy. It is the burial place of some of the most illustrious Italians, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, Foscolo, Gentile and Rossini. The day of our visit was overcast and not the best of days to photograph. While taking in all the architectural features of this magnificant church, I caught a glimps of the light shining through the storm clouds overhead and managed to get this image.
